Web Signage is the Digital Signage and Bluetooth Marketing system created by EdisonWeb for the digital communication used for promotional, advertising and information activities. The solution is based on a software centralized in Telecom Italia Data Centre, for the creation, production, management and diffusion of digital contents towards displays acting as shop windows or electronic posters.
The solution is constituted by a multi-user and multirole application server, accessible via web, aiming at creating and managing the contents to be distributed to the displays. The environment offers different authorization levels, in order to be able to manage big networks through a centralized system and to organize processes, functions and responsibilities in sophisticated realities as in mono-user environments. The displays communicates to the server through the Internet and a player software, having the task to automatically update the scheduled programme to be displayed according to the changes executed by the operators.
