WebLocator
The WebLocator represents the ensemble of EdisonWeb systems and technologies for the development of satellite localization and fleet management solutions.
WebLocator is therefore a modular software platform on which it is possible to improve quickly location driven solutions: from the mobile office, to the localization of the operators on the place, to the rescue and safety systems, until the improvement of advanced models estimating the travelling time.
Indeed, the WebLocator completes a wide range of on board devices and offers its operating functionalities in a wholly Web based application environment, supplied by Telecom Italia Data Centres.
The control systems, characterized by the same simple usability which are typical of EdisonWeb products, offers a detailed and extended cartography, the visualization in real time of the vehicles, the tracking analysis, different reports and management instruments such as the definition of the points of interest, the notification systems when sensitive areas are visited, the superimposing functions of satellite images in visualization systems and much more.
